Position Overview
We're seeking a Graduate Student Data Scientist as a paid Intern to join our team in developing cutting-edge AI vision systems. This is a part-time hybrid position working directly with our engineering team and CTO to drive technical innovation and mentor junior engineers.
What You'll Do
Learn and apply modern computer vision techniques through hands-on development of AI vision systems
Assist senior researchers in designing and conducting experiments to advance our vision capabilities
Implement and test vision models using Python and popular deep learning frameworks
Participate in data collection, preprocessing, and validation of vision systems
What We're Looking For
Currently pursuing MS/PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
Strong Python programming skills
Understanding of machine learning fundamentals
Basic knowledge of computer vision concepts and deep learning
Ability to work between 20-25 hours per week
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Eagerness to learn and grow
Nice to Have
Experience with Python, Tensorflow and Pytorch
Experience with Numpy, Pandas and Scikit
Familiarity with Linux
Previous coursework in software development or testing
